What the site does
SoloJudge reviews Android games from Google Play — mostly the smaller listings that never reach a chart — and says which ones survive an honest hour. What you get is time saved and a clear reason behind every verdict.
How titles are chosen
Six per issue, drawn from recent Google Play listings across calm genres: tycoon, simulation, idle and arcade. A title reaches the bench because its listing suggests a loop worth an hour, never because someone asked for it to be covered.
How an entry is made
Each game is installed from its Google Play listing onto the same handset and played across at least four sittings before a word is written. Ratings and rating counts are read off the listing on the date printed above the catalogue. One reviewer writes every entry, and each score is that reviewer's opinion held against the five criteria above rather than an average of other people's.
Where the line sits
Advertising placements appear alongside the editorial pages and are labelled where they run. They have no say over the catalogue, the order of the entries, the wording of a bench note or the timing of a verdict, and the rubric is published so that any reader can check a verdict against it. The complete disclosure, including our lack of affiliation with Google or with any developer named here, is set out in the terms.
